The songs in SBM are amazing. You will fall in love with them before even falling in love with the film. When thinking about sound in film, a viewer should take into consideration where and when the song is being used. How does the song change or compliment the mood of the scene and is the song used to change scenes?
When watching the film, pay attention to the songs sound (not necessarily the lyrics) and how that sound draws out certain emotions. What kinds of instruments are used and do those instruments reflect a certain feeling? Is there a certain rhythm to the music and does that reflect a certain tone or mood? Does the voice of the singer sound a certain way that changes the mood of the song? How?
These are only a few things to consider, but make sure you put on your analytical thinking cap when you are viewing the film and pay close attention to every angle.

I really agree with you and I made same resources about the movie and the topic was really attractive for grabbing attention therefore sound affected me too (:
ı agree with deylem:) usually soundtrack effects me a lot
If I were a part of film, I would be the creator of soundtrack, because soundtrack is such an important element of movie.
The fact that the songs are all from the fifties and sixties makes a difference as well. I don't know when the song "Stand By Me" was made by Ben E. King but songs like "Rockin' Robin", "Lollipop" and "Everyday" really created the feel of those times with the radio announcing the songs.
I agree with my friends. A good soundtrack is really essential to make a good movie because that's what determines the mood of the movie at certain scenes.
soundtrack has a very significant role in the movies because it makes the audience understand the mood in the film more.. ıf it is a happy scene, than the songs have to give happiness to the audience too like in SBM the song "Lollipop".. so it is important for the movie..
