Don't tell me TOO much about how today went, but how did it go? Were you able to finish the first draft in time? Was all the preparation we did in class helpful?
Now, the next few days will be used for revision of the work. Be sure to use the advice of your fellow students and what you know about newspaper writing to write a great article. Remember to avoid repeating information in your quotations that you have already reported. Also, make sure that lead is really good and DO NOT retell the story of the play. You need to use the story of the play to focus on the news story you are covering, but you definitely do not need to retell the story of the play.

The time was enough but still, I couldn't write my article as easy as I wrote at home.
I agree with Orhun. the time was enough.I could finish my article and it wasn't bad.
For today it was just ok. I prepared the outlines of my article and wrote my lead.
good job getting your lead in! that is the most important part of the article. now maintain the lead as the focus of your article and let the story unfold (that goes for everyone).
Today we had only 40 minutes so I was only able to write my outline and my lead.....
why did u have ust 40 minutes?
Time was enough ,but I wasn't confident and I don't think my article wasn't enough either.
I think that the time was ok and at the first minutes, I worked on my topic without writing anything to the green paper. So after my preparation was finished I started writing my lead anf my article. I have also written 2 more paragraphs.
Time was enough to write and check my article. Both preparation in the class and the worksheets helped me a lot but still I don't think my article was perfect.
nothing is ever perfect, especially the first time around. keep "chipping away at it" - as we say - and eventually it will get better, but perfect is just impossible.
the time was really enough and I think writing articles before helped me a lot and im glad with what i wrote.
I think tha the time was enough (even more) and practising to write articles helped me a lot :)

time was okay, actually more than i thought but i dont think that my essay is in the best shape it could be.

lara...it isn't an essay! it is a news article. i hope you haven't written an essay :).
The bad thing about the exam was we separated the time of the exam into the 2 period and I believe this made our job harder … :(
