Does this seem welcoming? I know you are all ready for the school year and so excited that the summer is over. I am hoping you have all the books you need and get together the proper notebooks and pens and pencils. We have at least 179 more days of school after the first day!! It will be great!
- bring Masterclass (Unit 5) and An Inspector Calls to EVERY class!
- bring a notebook (something to write on) and a pen/pencil (something to write with) to every class and BE ORGANIZED
How do you feel after the first day? I feel excited and tired at the same time.

After the first day, I kind of felt like a stranger because there were loads of new classmates whom I hadn't been familiar with. I also felt a little melancholic since a new year had started and I would have to start working again... I hope I can adapt to the new environment and people easily and soon...
After the first day I felt a little worried because this year would be hard for me but I realized that I was going to enjoy the thing related to school. I met my new teacher, new classmates and new roommates also I spent my time with my old friends and teachers for stop my longing. The other thing which made me happy was that I became classmates with Kerem, whom I shared my desk with. I also felt sorrowful because when I went to the first class, that meant to me that summer and my free times had been over. Anyway I am here and I have to study and try my best. Maybe I don’t know what’s going to happen but I hope everything will be good and I will follow my beliefs about education year…
On the first day, when I went home I evaluated the day. I didn't know my classmates, the school as a building, the teachers and their attitudes. All I knew was that it was not going to be like the elementary. I was used to being the eldest, the teachers and the cozy atmosphere of the elementary. Elementary was more like a private house. But high school will be more effective for the future I planned. So I stopped comparing high school with the elementary and decided to open a blank page in my life. Overall, first day was baffling but nice.
The first day of school I was suprised because ı didn't know that this much new students were going to come to our school. I also relized that LP is a lot more different that the other grades. I don't rememmber walking in the school this much and changing clasess every lesson. ı felt tired! Another thing is that last year we were only responsible for English and Turkish but this there are a lot more subjects and most of them carry the same importance. I think there'll be a lot of studying for me this year!
The first day of the highschool was very different. Because I got use to my elementry school so I felt my self little weird.The highschol is more active then the elementry. I understood that you need to be fast and organized. But more and more I believe that I will get use to this atmosphere too.
