Eat "brain foods" while you study and during exam time (not while taking the exam, but during the common exam week).
The following foods are considered "brain foods":
Wild Salmon
Green Tea
Blueberries
Black coffee made from coffee beans (no cream or sugar)
Generally -- eat a good breakfast that makes you feel full and happy. Being comfortable during an exam could affect what your brain is thinking about.

I think you're right about having a good breakfast will help our mind for thinking better :)
Besides your points Ms. Clark, I also think that it's important to keep eating what you have always been eating and to maintain your habits during the common exam week.
This tip of yours I think helped a lot as drinking green tea opened my mind even though my exams weren't perfect.
