Tracking Shot

These are the most fun to me. I love imagining a guy with a camera on a track, following the characters as they are acting out a portion of the scene. It is like having someone follow you around with a camera.

I always try to pay attention to a film and notice the tracking shots, so I can laugh to myself about how the actors are being "followed" or tracked in the scene.

Today in the lesson we watched 2 music videos and we were tying to find the camera techniques used and it was really funny!

Yes Çisil you are right. The clips contained lots of tracking shots. This makes the clip look like it is an active clip and it is an important technique for making films.

Before we learn camera shots in the lesson I never pay attention to the shots. Now, when I watch something the first thing I look for the shots and when I put myself to the actress' place it seems very funny and weird to me..!!

before we did the lessons in the school, i never paid attention to the camera techniques. However, now i can not watch film because of paying attention to the camera techniques.. they really effect the film's atmosphere and make the film more logical.. In addition i agree with you Mrs. Clark about the tracking shot.. it is the most funniest one...(:

I agree with you, too Ms. Clark. Your point of view about tracking shot made me smile.
I notice that tracking shots are used a lot in action films since there are a lot of chasing, hit and run scenes in those sorts of movies.
