Eat "brain foods" while you study and during exam time (not while taking the exam, but during the common exam week).
The following foods are considered "brain foods":
Wild Salmon
Green Tea
Blueberries
Black coffee made from coffee beans (no cream or sugar)
Generally -- eat a good breakfast that makes you feel full and happy. Being comfortable during an exam could affect what your brain is thinking about.

Week Off!
I gave myself a week off since this was my holiday week :)! Enjoy!

Excursion Day

Excursion Day
Tomorrow is Excursion Day to the Princes' Islands. Make sure you bring the handouts I distributed in class!
Remember: You guys are reporters for the day and you need to find someone to interview in order to create a story for your newspaper article we will complete later in class.
Your Exam: Remember your exam will also be in relation to newspaper writing using the content of the play, so be sure you are thinking about and reading newspaper articles and how they are written, so you get used to the writing style for the exam.

Welcome to School!
Does this seem welcoming? I know you are all ready for the school year and so excited that the summer is over. I am hoping you have all the books you need and get together the proper notebooks and pens and pencils. We have at least 179 more days of school after the first day!! It will be great!
- bring Masterclass (Unit 5) and An Inspector Calls to EVERY class!
- bring a notebook (something to write on) and a pen/pencil (something to write with) to every class and BE ORGANIZED
How do you feel after the first day? I feel excited and tired at the same time.
